  • Open interval: Domain between \(x=0 \quad \& \quad x=L\), excluding endpoints \(x=0 \quad \& \quad x=L\) themseleves.
  • Here boundary conditions either on \(u(x)\) or on \(u_{,x}\) at boundary points.
